Rebelliousness

Sin is violation of Torah
       Missing the mark
              Failing to obey

Rebellion is despising Torah
       Aiming away from the mark
              Intending to disobey

One is pardonable,
       If we acknowledge wrongdoing
The other is unpardonable,
If we continue in our course

One is forgivable,
       If we accept correction
The other is unforgivable,
       If we refuse instruction

What is the distinction between error and choice?
Where is the line between falling down and falling away?

Anyone who loves YHWH will obey Him
When he errs, he acknowledges his fault
              And YHWH will forgive him

Anyone who hates YHWH will shirk Him
When he rebels, he says he does nothing wrong
              And YHWH will destroy him
