Torah is the instructions and commandments of YHWH, given for our benefit teaching us to distinguish good from evil, teaching us to distinguish right from wrong, teaching us to distinguish clean from unclean
Sin is violation of Torah, lawlessness, or breaking “The Law”
The penalty for sin is death, the soul that sins will die
Everyone has sinned, so, everyone is destined for death, unless we can be saved from destruction
Many say salvation is obtained by: Belief, belief, and nothing but belief So help us God
But, demons believe More so than most humans They know exactly who Jesus is What authority Jesus wields What Jesus will accomplish through the end of the age Yet, they have no salvation…
And when your children say to you, “What do you mean by this service?” you shall say, “It is the sacrifice of YHWH’s Passover, for He passed over the houses of the people of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians but spared our houses.” And the people bowed their heads and worshiped. (Exodus 12:26-27)
The immediate, obvious, purpose of Passover is to remember God’s deliverance of His people from slavery and genocide in Egypt. During the Passover observance, we meditate on such concepts as: How did our forefathers become enslaved in a land of darkness? How did they turn back to God and call on His name? How did God remember His promises and respond to His people?
Remembering what God has done for His people in the past is an important part of revering Him and maintaining our relationship.
What is the gospel of Jesus? What is salvation? Exactly what is Jesus supposed to save us from? And why do we need this salvation? These questions are basic to the faith, yet the gospel is often misunderstood.
Following is a brief overview of the gospel of Jesus: What the gospel is, how it works, and what decision each of us must make. The gospel is presented in three abbreviated formats with the intent to give readers a basic understanding of the message. Our hope is for readers to understand the gospel message well enough to make an informed decision to accept or reject it.
Whatever you choose, make your decision from a point of understanding rather than from a point of ignorance or bias. And if you have questions or want further information, then feel free to contact us. Continue reading What is the Gospel of Jesus?
