YHWH is God
YHWH, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob:
YHWH alone is God
There is no other
YHWH is self-existent
He has no beginning and no end
YHWH is self-sustaining
He is immortality
YHWH is omnipotent
He is limitless power and sovereignty
YHWH is omniscient
He is limitless knowledge
YHWH is omnipresent
He is everywhere simultaneously
YHWH is light
He is perfect; in Him is no darkness at all
YHWH is love
He knows us, He provides for us, and He wants us to know Him
YHWH created all
There is no random happenstance to the universe
YHWH is the giver and sustainer of life
He formed mankind in His image and breathed His life-giving breath into us
YHWH is our source and our salvation
Everyone is dependent on Him
Yeshua (Jesus) is Messiah
Yeshua, commonly known by the transliterated name Jesus, is the Messiah spoken of by the prophets.
He is God come in the flesh to walk among us
He is the promised seed who crushed the serpent’s head
He is our savior who destroyed the devil’s work
He is our atoning sacrifice, whose blood purified our sins
He is the only means to salvation
Yeshua will return, and he will rule as our eternal king.
Torah is YHWH’s Teachings, Instructions, and Commands Given to Us for Our Benefit
Torah is YHWH’s teachings, instructions, and commands spoken directly to Moses without an intermediary.
Torah is perfect, holy, and just.
It is the foundation of the faith
It is our standard of wisdom and judgement
Torah reveals YHWH’s will to mankind
It defines right and wrong, good and evil
It instructs us on the best way to live.
To obey Torah is to love YHWH
To love YHWH is to obey His Torah
Yeshua did not destroy or overthrow the Torah
He fully taught Torah
He fully preached Torah
He made Torah fully known as YHWH intended
Yeshua perfectly obeyed Torah
He is without any sin
His teachings are perfectly consistent with Torah
Yeshua said no portion of Torah will disappear
Not the smallest letter
Not the smallest mark
Until heaven and earth disappear
Until all has been completed
Sin is Violation of Torah
Sin is violation of Torah. When we miss the mark of Torah, in thought or in deed, we sin.
Sin is
Disobedience of the Torah through ignorance
Sin is
Disobedience of the Torah through error
Sin is
Disobedience of the Torah through intent
Sin ruins our relationship with YHWH, and sin carries a penalty under YHWH’s just law.
The Ultimate Penalty for Sin is Destruction
The ultimate fate of sinners is destruction in YHWH’s fire.
Souls are not inherently immortal. Rather, YHWH alone possess immortality and He gives it to whom He wishes. Eternal life is a gift from YHWH, given only to those who receive salvation through Yeshua’s atoning sacrifice.
The traditional doctrine of Hell as eternal torture is a pagan influence on the faith. Greek mythology teaches of a netherworld, ruled by a dark god, where the souls of the damned are tormented for all eternity. The Bible speaks of death and destruction as the penalty of the wicked; it states only the saved children of YHWH will inherit eternal life from Him.
YHWH is holy, perfect, and just. YHWH is not a cruel torturer, and He never prescribed torture as a penalty for sin in His Torah. The highest penalty in the Torah is execution, and the scriptures repeatedly point to the final destruction of the wicked in the day of YHWH.
Everyone Has Sinned
Everyone has sinned. Anyone who says he or she has not sinned deceives himself or herself. One has only to examine himself or herself in comparison to the Torah to see he or she has sinned. Who has never lied? Who has never stolen? Who has never dishonored a parent? Who has never lusted? Who has never gossiped? Who has never done an injustice? Who has never blasphemed YHWH? An honest examination of ourselves against the standard of Torah reveals we have all broken YHWH’s Torah.
Since everyone has sinned, everyone is subject to the penalty of sin. Everyone is justly destined for death and destruction at the end of the age.
Salvation is YHWH’s Pardon for Our Sin
Nobody can remove the penalty for sin from himself or herself. Left to our own devices, we would all be destroyed in YHWH’s righteous judgement. But YHWH loves us so much that he provided a means to salvation.
Salvation is a pardon for our sin. We are guilty of violating the Torah, and we are deserving of destruction for our guilt. Salvation is undeserved, unearned, forgiveness for the evil we have done. Salvation is given solely by the love and mercy of YHWH; He is the judge who condemns or acquits according to His law and His will.
Yeshua is the perfect, atoning, sacrifice for our sins. Yeshua took the sins of all mankind upon himself, sacrificing himself on our behalf, and destroying the penalty of sin in his flesh. YHWH accepts Yeshua’s blood sacrifice as our atonement.
To receive salvation, one must sincerely believe Yeshua paid the penalty for sin and YHWH accepts Yeshua’s blood as payment for our guilt. Anyone who believes Yeshua will not be destroyed but will receive eternal life. Anyone who rejects Yeshua is already condemned to destruction.
